Update: Native Nations Festival 2019

We are happy to announce that the forth annual Native Nations Festival (formerly the Falling Leaves Festival) is confirmed for September 21-22, 2019 at Watson Homestead in Painted Post, New York.

Friday, September 20, 2018 will be a free educational day when students attending local schools are invited to learn about Native American Culture. This educational day will feature a sacred fire, traditional dancing and drumming, demonstrations, and activities adapted specifically for kids. Please check with your local school to see if they will participate. Unfortunately, the public can not attend on the Educational day.

Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22, 2019 will be the main festival days open to the public. The Native Nations Festival (including parking) is free, since SGS relies on donations to put on our programming. The Native Nations Festival will open with a traditional ceremony and feature a sacred fire; traditional dancing, drumming, and music; Native American vendors, food for purchase, and demonstrations.
